Interview a Veteran Award Winner Essays

The Kiwanis Club of Clarksville this week announced the winners of the annual Interview a Veteran essay contest, and those essays are now available to read online.

This year, the theme was how the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon changed America’s military service.

The following are this year’s winners.

  • Grand high school winner: Alexis Anderson, Clarksville High School.
  • Grand middle school winner: Lavonne Ikalina, Mahaffey Middle.
  • Most patriotic: Rebekah Yoder, Mahaffey Middle.Their essays are available through links at the right.
